Dr. Surdell answered every single question I had! He went as far as looking back at previous notes and images/scans to be able to answer my questions to the fullest extent. My case is/has been kind of complex since around May 2023 so he had quite some digging to do! We went over questions from historical topics to my future treatment plans, possible outcomes, goals, unknowns, etc. And he managed to do all of this in 20 minutes or less! And the most important part- when our conversation was done and we hung up, I wasn't confused or left in tears. I actually felt SO relieved. I'm about to have another brain surgery and I feel relieved. How many people can say that after just having a phone call with a neurosurgeon?

He was very thorough and I did not feel rushed. He answered my questions and made several recommendations for further testing. My previous provider at another clinic prematurely released me from care in my opinion and left me feeling confused about my prognosis.
