Please note: Nebraska Medicine provides emergency burn care services only. All outpatient burn care services are transferred to the CHI Health St. Elizabeth Regional Medical Center Burn Clinic in Lincoln, NE.

For emergency burn care, Nebraska Medicine is home to a nationally certified Level I Comprehensive Trauma Center, serving all patients, from infants to the elderly, with the highest level of care for all serious and life-threatening injuries.

However, some recent physician retirements have facilitated the need for Nebraska Medicine to re-evaluate the outpatient services offered for burn care. After much thought and consideration, Nebraska Medicine will discontinue outpatient burn care services effective July 1, 2019. All outpatient burn care services will transition to CHI Health St. Elizabeth Regional Medical Center Outpatient Burn Clinic in Lincoln, Neb. CHI St. Elizabeth has the facilities and clinical expertise to continue to provide exceptional burn care to regional patients.
