What to expect

Before your first appointment, the eye cancer specialists at Truhlsen Eye Institute will review your medical history and begin working on a personalized treatment plan. During your evaluation, additional testing may be required to help determine the best course of treatment. This testing could include ultrasound, MRI or a CT scan.

Our ocular oncology experts work closely with specialists throughout Nebraska Medicine to determine the best course of treatment for you. This multidisciplinary team may include specialists in oculoplastic surgery, radiation oncology, hematology-oncology, head and neck surgery, ocular prosthetics and genetics.
