I'm impressed with Dr. Wengel. And, I'm not easily impressed. I feel very comfortable in sharing with him. And, he is very knowledgeable, experienced, open in sharing with me what he has found that seemed to work for other patients and then lets me decide which path I feel comfortable in taking. He's educational in sharing resources, groups, books and other materials in my quest to becoming healthy and staying healthy. He is very professional and yet seems very personable.

Dr Wengel takes the approach that the patient and the doctor are a team. He is not authoritarian or patronizing. He shows empathy while listening and gives positive feedback. He imparts a sense of hope to a patient who is struggling.
