This is the first doctor and facility that I have been to that actually pays attention and cares. Dr Matthew Schmitt listened to my concerns before he moved forward with recommends . Had had blood test done and found abnormalities that a previous doctor - competitor over many many years did not research or pursue even after I informed them of my concerns. Dr Schmitt is sincerely an empathetic, knowledgeable, professional doctor.

I have (unfortunately) seen many doctors in various treatments in my life. I am from California and had lived in Montana for 9 months before visiting and then deciding to make Nebraska my home. Dr. Schmitt is one of thee best doctors I have seen in my 61 years. His office is kind of far for me and I do not currently have my own transportation. It was suggested by family to find a primary doctor closer to home. I said no, Dr. Schmitt is an excellent doctor and worth the Uber or other ways to see him for my medical needs.

This was my first visit with Dr Schmitt. I have been trying to find a doctor for years since my internal medicine doctor passed away years ago. I feel like I finally found my forever doctor. You have no idea how relieved I am to know he is there for me. Then the next day he called me with my results from my blood work. Who does that these days? A doctor who calls you? So personal on his part. Plus our sense of humors seem be the same. Thank you and God Bless

I definitely will tell anyone if I have a chance to bring up the subject as the Med Center and the Doctors I gone to there for either myself or my husband has been a blessing to us.

Dr Schmitt helped explain my depression to my husband, which was super helpful. Now my husband has a better understanding of what my symptoms are and can provide me with better support.
