Stroke, brain aneurysm and AVM support groups

Recovery after a stroke or brain aneurysm involves more than physical healing – emotional and psychological well-being are equally important. Support groups offer a space to connect with others who share similar experiences, exchange advice and receive encouragement.

Nebraska’s Hope for a Better Tomorrow Stroke Support Group

Hosted by Nebraska Medicine and Madonna Rehabilitation Hospitals, this group provides education, resources and a supportive environment for stroke survivors and caregivers. Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month.

Schedule:

  • 6 to 6:15 p.m.: Welcome
  • 6:15 to 7:00 p.m.: Education topic, guest speaker, support and sharing

2025 dates: Jan. 14, Feb. 11, March 11, April 8, May 13, June 10, July 8, Aug. 12, Sept. 9, Oct. 14, Nov. 11 and Dec. 9.
