If you're having COVID-19 symptoms, you can check in with a health care provider online through an E-Visit without picking up the phone.

An E-Visit is an online series of questions. The questions and your answers are submitted to a doctor for review. The doctor will evaluate your responses, and may recommend you for a COVID-19 test. You will receive a response within one business day.

To get started, you must have a One Chart | Patient account. 

If you are a Nebraska Medicine patient but don't have a One Chart | Patient account, please fill out this form to create an account. 

If you are not an established Nebraska Medicine patient but want to be tested for COVID-19 at a Nebraska Medicine location, please call 800.922.0000 instead of completing an E-Visit. 

How to complete an E-Visit

Using your One Chart | Patient username and password, log in to your account through the Nebraska Medicine app or the One Chart | Patient web portal, and follow these instructions: 

Using the Nebraska Medicine app:

Step 1: Tap the red "Start a COVID-19 E-Visit" banner.
Step 2: Accept the terms and conditions.
Step 3: Complete the series of questions.
Step 4: Review and confirm the information prior to submitting.
Step 5: You’ll receive a response from a health care provider who has reviewed the information submitted. All E-Visits receive a response within 24 hours – with the exception of the Skin Concern E-Visit – which may take up to 3 business days. 

Using the One Chart | Patient web portal:

Step 1: On the right side of the page, under "Quick Links," select "E-Visit."
Step 2: Accept the terms and conditions.
Step 3: Complete the series of questions.
Step 4: Review and confirm the information prior to submitting.
Step 5: You’ll receive a response from a health care provider who has reviewed the information submitted. All E-Visits receive a response within 24 hours – with the exception of the Skin Concern E-Visit – which may take up to 3 business days.
