Forbes names Nebraska Medicine one of the best employers in Nebraska for 4th straight year
For the fourth year in a row, Forbes named Nebraska Medicine one of the best employers in the state.
“This is an award that is given to us by our colleagues,” says CEO James Linder, MD. “We didn’t submit a nomination for this award; it’s a reflection of how our colleagues feel about this organization. It makes me very proud to know they would recommend us to others as a great place to work. I personally feel very grateful for the tremendous people who work here. Nebraska Medicine would not be the health system it is today without their service and dedication.”
The Forbes list of Best-in-State Employers 2022 were identified in a survey based on a vast sample of approximately 70,000 Americans working for companies with more than 500 employees. Across 25 industry sectors, 1,380 employer brands were ranked among the top employers. Brands were able to win in more than one state.
The evaluation was based on direct and indirect recommendations from employees who were asked to rate their willingness to recommend their own employers to friends and family. Employees were also asked to evaluate other employers in their respective industry and state that stood out either positively or negatively.
