Summary
This protocol is designed to generate a comprehensive repository of specimens and data to inform understand of the disease and future research inquiry:
Collect and store tissue specimens, small volumes of peripheral blood (plasma, serum and PBMCs), pancreatic fluid, ascites fluid, pleural effusion, urine, and clinical data from patients with pancreas cancer or non-malignant pancreatic diseases.
Collect and store blood and urine from healthy volunteers to be used as controls in research studies.
Collect and store tissues, bone, bone marrow and blood may occasionally be obtained from a research autopsy.
Provide potential specimens to perform future IRB approved research studies.
