Discover how our paid leave options give you the freedom to recharge and balance your professional and personal life.

Get paid to volunteer in your community

The Community Strong Program reflects our organization’s dedication to community service. Benefit-eligible colleagues can volunteer and receive paid time off each year: eight hours for full-time and four hours for part-time colleagues. This time must be used with 501(c)(3) organizations.

A 501(c)(3) organization is a nonprofit exempt from federal taxes. Note that local churches, schools, sports teams and volunteer work within Nebraska Medicine do not qualify.
