Vascular Center

An estimated 20 to 30 million Americans are at risk for various vascular diseases, including stroke, peripheral arterial disease (PAD), carotid artery disease and aortic aneurysms.

The Nebraska Medical Center and the Vascular Center offers vascular screenings at any of our three sites in Omaha with no doctor referral. The patient will be screened for peripheral artery disease, abdominal aortic aneurysm, and carotid artery (stroke) disease.

The staff who will perform the screening are registered vascular technologists and your reports will be interpreted by a credentialed vascular surgeon. The screening report and risk assessment session will be sent to your primary care physician. A copy of this report will also be mailed to you.

Cost for Screenings:
