Movement Disorder Clinic
The Movement Disorder Clinic at The Nebraska Medical Center is dedicated to diagnosing
and treating movement disorders. Movement disorders are neurological diseases that
affect the control of movements. Some of the most common movement disorders include:
Parkinson's disease, essential/familial tremor, restless leg syndrome, Huntington's
disease, Tourette's syndrome and dystonia. While there is no cure for these diseases,
their symptoms can be treated effectively for years with the use of medications
and/or surgery.
